48 out mid-70's today. Heading on a road trip, going to get another kid set-up for college. Worked on crown molding in a room yesterday. The outside corners are always a challenge for me. Angles and math, not good at that. Any tricks for getting it right? Remember this old farm house, nothing is square.

42 This morning, bright and crisp. Off to Lebanon this morning to meet the new Boss. Lots of developments on the employment front. My youngest Daughter just was hired to teach at our hometown school for next school year. The school she is teaching at this year is closing down due to low enrollment. Good that she could make the switch this early and not have to worry about it over the summer.

48 heading to 78.

Had 6 hours of seat time yesterday, planting, fertilizing and dragging 4 food plots. Dave, the Cosmo 500 did the spreading job well. But I'm with you...when I plant clover or chicory or other small seeds, I walk with a hand spreader. Use the 3pt spreader for lime, fertilizer, sunflowers, buckwheat, beans and peas.

Happy birthday Gary!

Good to see you back, RS.

Had two blacksnakes mating in our paulownia tree and they fell to the ground making a big thump. Unfortunately, by the time I got my phone for a pic, they were separated and heading for cover.

62 headed for 78 today.
House guests still sleeping in; they have an 8 hour drive to Atlanta today and I think after driving all day yesterday,
and enjoying a little too much wine last night, they are sleeping soundly.
they are driving in their Honda Pilot they bought new eons ago, 130K miles on it, and Wayne said it drives just like new. No wind whistles, creaks or noises. New Michelins last year helped but that car is remarkably reliable. An SUV before they got supersized. He would like to replace it but hard to justify. He keeps it waxed and nice, so he says he'll have to wait a little longer for a new car with tons of buzzers and nannies.

The front of my new truck has sonar sensors, like the rear. Haven't paid attention to what that looks like, but I was chuckling, I'd like a setup, camera included, like that on my FEL so I can see when I'm about to touch.
I've decided that if I can take this truck and parallel park it in downtown Washington, which is all parallel park, and with all these sensors, if I can do without great hassle (the dually was impossible without two consecutive spots) I am considering selling the 2014 Avalon I have and just own one vehicle. One thing for sure, that Toyota V6 in that car is both surprisingly powerful and economical, as when I turn off the car after running an errand downtown, I've usually recorded 25-27mpg.
The truck will likely get 17 in the same scenario. It has an 8 speed auto plus cylinder deactivation so at least in steady state driving, it gets fair mileage. Letting it rip through the gears and hear the hemi burble, well, c'est la vie.

still need my mid life crisis car. Before I get too old...
something small, not a motorcycle, with lots of hp.

Gary, it's probably one of yours... but:

The other day at the Concord NH weather vane they wanted over $40 for wicked twins. I passed on them.
