I agree with Chris. My last trailer was a 20' H&H tilt bed, Came with bias tires. It always pulled well. When I needed to replace the tires I went with new rims and radial tires with a higher rating. Best move ever. Once I mounted and balanced the tires and installed on the trailer it pulled much better.
Now I have a 22' 14K PJ tilt bed with radials. It tows great. Barely know its behind me. First thing I did when I got it home was pull the wheels off and put them on the spin balancer to check them because I didn't see any weights. Turns out they were all within 1/2 oz. of perfect.
I don't have experience with Kaufman but have heard from 2 guys that own them and they were not happy. Said the trailers bounced a lot, didn't pull straight, had hard times balancing a load. They never found out why and sold them and bought other brands.
