Bad case of target fixating. Target fixating, going where we look, is our natural default that must be pounded out of our brains through training and practice applying that training. The safest group at the track is the expert group. Everybody holds their lines and does predictable things, even though they are blazing along much faster than the intermediate and novices.

Have a KTM 250 EXC 2 stroke that is DOT (or at least Vermont) legal for 1 24 hour period a year, and after the inspection sticker is on, the go fast parts come back out of hiding. I have an add on muffler/extension that actually makes it quieter than my buddies 4 stroke dual sports.
Should be a great weekend for some dirt road cruising.

I second what ETO says in regard to the road biker's 'trip in the tulies'. When pushing it, one should keep head vertical to bike to hold the line vs more upright, esp if that's only for 'the shot'. A rider must 'become one with the vehicle', lest they soon follow different paths. 
Ever had a newbie passenger that won't follow your lean, tries to stay upright in turns and makes you fight their 'counter lean'? IME most catch on quickly. A horse will sense a tensed-up rider and won't perform to it's full potential (dressage, etc). A bike won't necessarily accommodate a 'shifty' passenger, and if they feel like they'll fall off they're as likely to cause it as anything the bike does. ("Lean with me, or get off & hitchhike, ok?")

If you watch that TOTD video, apparently the bike is an older Suzuki Katana. In the last 30 seconds of the video the rider takes off his helmet and you can see he is middle-aged, not some kid. That video now has over 23,000 views....
My 11yo boy riding some ATV trails in the area around Abbott, Maine last summer. Big thrill for him. I learned that the top speed of a CRF100 is more than the rated 45mph when you have a 80 lb rider....

That's the one.
I bought the bike used and it was already installed; makes a big difference. Not sure if they are still around or not
