We ended up with more meat left over than what was eaten

Hey, send it to the rest of us! Sounds delicious.
Perhaps some day with 3d printers (the first sci fi replicators??)
we can send food to each other. Hard to get your head around that but
so were fax machines.

UPS will get the patent on it and be happy not to have brown trucks any more.
Amazon will have the primary order screen.
Hmmm, the leftover onion rings look good tonight...all the way from Paris too.

off to make pancakes. The old fashioned way. My houseguests brought some Tupelo honey for me that is just remarkable and I want to try a little on pancakes. Need to be careful, those sugary syrups are not at all good for borderline sugar issues. But a little will be just fine. Honey made from the flowers of just one tree, the tupelo, during the month of April I think I read. Wonder how they keep those bees from straying...you know, the ones that always want that new flower?

It's a pleasant 60F headed to upper 70's with a slight chance of rain this evening.

Another cup of coffee and I'll be awake enough to handle sharp knives. Have to get the chickens cut, cleaned out and ready for the grill.

Going to the grocery store yesterday evening I saw several MA, NY and CT license plates; it must be summer in Maine. Lots of second homes/camps in Maine owned by those to the south where they have jobs. :)

I mostly think about my Dad, FIL and uncles on Memorial Day. WWII Vets, they all came back alive. They are all gone now, my Mom is the last of that generation in our family.

61F overcast high upper 70's.
Good couple hours work w/chainsaw than puttering, not sure about the rest of the day.
Notice fox just before dark pawing over fresh cut grass clumps looking for meal, they sure have good hearing.

Enjoy the day all.

During one of the storms a six pac of trees blew over. My grapple grabbed it and my rear tires came up. I guess it will stay there till winter. This was the area that I spent 3 days clearing so I would have a pond view from the road. Obstructed view - again.
