Now that you used it how do you like the Deck over vs normal porch paint? Noticeable visual difference in the surface?

Looks very nice in the pics.

Always used transparent stain before. The Deck Over is a lot thicker and dries a lot faster then normal stain. Costs twice as much but suppose to last up to 10 yrs. Roller gave it a little textured surface to give a little grip. Shouldn't get any slivers in bare feet either.

Currently 57 with light drizzle. Will get into high 60's......will be sunny by afternoon. First Memorial Day without Mom......we lost her last December. She was a WWII navy veteran.......saved a lot of lives in San Diego. Quite a lady.......last year on Memorial Day.....local veterans gave her a US flag afghan.......she used it everyday.......yep.....quite a lady!! Remember our fallen and those that have served today........

Sorry about your mom. Sounds like a great person with a lot of stories. Care to share any?

We have severe storms headed our way. Tornado warnings and big time hail. Wind is blowing hard towards the storm line. Might be time to duck under cover. Don, y'all keep your heads low.

Hope SirReal is ok. Bulk of the bad stuff over on his side of the I-35 Corridor. NWS issuing a lot of emergency bulletins on the radio for his general area. These storms are NASTY.

Thanks for the thought, Kyle. No worse, no better either. The doc said no wind in the face, and I really do miss the motorcycles. Nothing to do for it but get along as best I can, so I try to make up for it other ways. Life's too short not to!

Keep your head down in that weather down there. Do you have a tornado shelter handy?
