I think he was just trying to be helpful by sharing another option. There was no indication that the deal was done. be nice.

Difference of interpretation, post #15 "Luke Im buying friday for sure I'm getting the mx5800hst how much extra was the 3rd function hydraulics up front, 2 rear hydraulic remotes.?"

Then post #19 "exact price paid is this"

It sure looked to me like the deal was done.

I ended up buying it Thursday. I looked at Kioti and Mahindra but they are actually not much cheaper nowadays then John D or Kubota. Also they don't have much dealer support in the Seattle Wa area. Id love to have a cab and backhoe etc but its just to much money. I wanted a new tractor. The most important things or me where hp for the $, and Dealer location and support and future support and availability of parts.

Not that it changes anything for you (maybe helpful for someone else reading this thread). I'm sure everyone's definition of "not much cheaper" varies, but you could have gotten an NX6010 cab for the same money, or open station for about $6K less. $6K could buy a bunch of implements for someone on a tighter budget.

the NX6010 HST Cab with same setup would be 55400.00 - 4000.00 cash back = 51,400.00 I did price it. the tractor alone is 37k for the 2015 model.Town & Country Tractor in Monroe wa is only 6 miles from me the nx6010 was the first tractor I looked at. Its not a model they carry but I got a price quote from them on one.

That's too high...at least around here a 6010 HST Cab would be $34-35K.

Also not quite a fair comparison. I think the NXs are probably a great tractor but they really compete with the kubota L Garand models.

They both have all that electronic HST and PTO stuff. Rev matching and anti stall etc. I mostly just saw that as things to break in a few hundred hours... And expensive.

When you compare the NX to the Garand, the NXs become a great value for the "features" offered.

However, if you just want a very durable, HST, higher horsepower CUT it is very hard to make an argument against the MXs. Just my opinion.

I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnZThdkitxE. I got real excited also A friend told me they had free loaders so the nx6010 was my first choice. But When I looked deeper into it and heard some not so great stuff about the service dept of my local dealer I started looking at John deere and Kubota. Also an extra 10k is a lot and I figured a cab was just a pipe dream at 40k budget if I wanted a 50+hp tractor brand new. In fact my original budget was 30k cash but I realized I could not get anything good new for that.

Why so rude? I really wish trolling did not bother me so much.

Not trolling fella ... Relax. Said "huh?" Because your post didn't make much sense.

So, yes... The NX line does compete with the Grand L line. The Grand L line has the same strength loader as the MX, more 3pt lift, overall similar specs, with many more features going to the Grand L (and the NX matches or beats the Grand L specs). The MX isn't any more "durable" than a Grand L. And, the extra "features" aren't really any more likely to break than any of the standard features on the MX series.

If the NX is a "great value" compared to the Grand L, then it's a downright steal compared to an MX.

The MX line are nice enough tractors, don't get me wrong... But one could make a valid argument against them, considering how overpriced they are compared to competing similarly equipped tractors in the segment.

Now ... That is just for the sake of argument. I am happy that the OP chose a tractor that he likes. It sounds like he did not have much to choose from in his area, and thus was unfortunately stuck paying a higher price then others on this forum depending upon location. I'm sure the MX will serve him just fine.
