My take, your mileage may vary....I paid 36k for my DK 45 Hst cab.2013 mfg date, tier 3,with kb 2485 hoe with mech grapple. and third function up front for a grapple, standard equip with the cab unit, 1 remote out back,F/R wipers, am, fm cdplayer, heat, ac, sun visor, three cup holders. tilt, phone charger suspension seat, etc.cruise etc, free kl401 loader 27065 lbs lift to full hieght 107.7 inches...2.5 inches shy of the mx 5800but clearly WAY more tractor for the money.

Here is Seattle Wa area you only really have John D and Kubota no good dealerships for Kioti here. Also Prices have gone up a bunch since 2013 with the new tier 4 emissions and such. It would cost me another 20k for a backhoe and a cab both of which I would love to have. I didn't have many choices in this area.

I hear ya....I'm in eastern wa...my dealer no longer sells kiot,i kind of a PIA but 20K....You can buy parts online from MIE..Michigan iron and equipment, they are awsome:thumbsup:

You saw it was a MX5800 right? More than 10 more horse power at the PTO.

Oh and be sure the slip clutch on all your PTO powered implements is set up and regularly serviced. With that much HP you can tear them up in a hurry! You are gonna have some fun!

Sorry to blow up the thread but... When you pick up don't forget about all those impliments. My guess would be that you'll need a 10k trailer that is at least 16' if not 18'.

Seems all but inevitable someone will bring something like this up after someone announces their satisfaction with getting a new tractor; don't really understand why.

Thanks for the breakdown....it seems lots of folks are hesitant to do that.

It looks like you paid around $33K for the tractor, loader, bucket, and remotes before tax....which is around the number I keep saying these go for in the real world. For some reason people always want to argue that point.
