Im pretty happy with what I use, but will look them up if I want a change.

Okay, I'm sold on Schaeffer 238 for the pins on my backhoe. Since that isn't really a good choice for things like chassis points, ball joints, etc, what does everyone recommend there?
Actually it is great for chassis points and ball joints. The only place you don't want to use it is bearings. I use 238 on everything except bearings and they get red mystik.
+ 1 on the schaeffers.Okay, I'm sold on Schaeffer 238 for the pins on my backhoe. Since that isn't really a good choice for things like chassis points, ball joints, etc, what does everyone recommend there?
Langford, the best Schaeffer's grease to use in your JD Backhoe will be Moly Ultra Supreme #238 NLGI #2. If you'd like to get some or if you're currently using another one of Schaeffer's grease and you'd rather use just one grease for most everything, call our offices and we'll help you figure it out.
The best grease for any piece of machinery is the one that gets used frequently.
