Backhoe New B2650 with loader backhoe dual rear remotes and third function. Problem with seat

/ New B2650 with loader backhoe dual rear remotes and third function. Problem with seat #11
Thanks for all the replies guys , I do appreciate the information and help I'm getting from all of you.I drove this B 2650 at the dealership before the backhoe was installed and the seat suspension apparatus was changed and I was quite pleased with the original seat. I had no idea adding the backhoe was going to cause this problem
Beckmurph - if I understand your post you are having the BH 77 installed on your 2650 tractor as we speak..please keep posting and let me know if you have the same problem or if they have put a different suspension apparatus on yours.
Trihounds-- if I understand you correctly the seat height on your B 3300 stays at the same height relative to the operating platform whether in the backhoe position or the forward operating position.
This is encouraging as they are similar tractors and perhaps I have the wrong suspension apparatus on mine.
Thanks again. .. Doc Russell

drussell - sorry, no, the seat height raises when swivelled to use the BH77 then lowers again when swivelled forward. I can't imagine there would be a difference with the 2650 and 3300 and same BH77 backhoe hence my suspicion you've got something funky going on with your configuration (and it's not the BH77 that is the problem).

I know the true TLB series - B26, L39, etc have seats that spin without a height change.

From the feedback I have been getting I can only hope that they have given me the wrong seat swivel configuration.this is a great little tractor and the backhoe is a quality product as well. The unit fits together very well and is very functional. I find it hard to believe that Kubota would allow such a quality product to be screwed up with such a poorly designed seat, but I have been fooled before. This is their deluxe model tractor and they boast about the deluxe quality seat but there is nothing deluxe about the seat that I have received. I will continue to work with my dealer and Kubota to resolve this problem if possible and will let you all know what develops.

I picked my B2650 up today. I had the BH77 added to it. And yes, the seat is higher. It is the same seat that was originally on the tractor, but like drussell, the adjustable section of seat has been removed. :muttering::hissyfit::censored:

drussell: I am 6' and 200 lbs. I don't have any trouble reaching the pedals, but it is going to take some getting used to.
I was going to measure the seat height today, but I will tomorrow.

Good to hear you got your unit back today beckmurph, but from the looks of your little censored icon you aren't totally pleased either. It doesn't seem right we should have to sacrifice our Deluxe suspension seat to add the backhoe. In my first post I described the seat as being awkward and unsafe. In all fairness I can reach the pedals but I cannot put my feet flat on the floor, this creates unhealthy amount of pressure on the back of my legs as my feet are suspended from the seat, not a healthy situation for circulation. A shorter person than you and I would have any more serious situation I suspect.
I find this situation unacceptable and will pursue this problem with my dealer and Kubota Canada if necessary. I went this route with my grand L4240 with a safety issue and with the right approach I was very pleased with the results.
Let me know what your thoughts and feelings are after you have measured yours in the morning.
Respectfully. ... Doc Russell

drussell:
I took the time to measure the seat this morning. Same as yours. 21" on the backhoe, and 22" on the driver platform.
I do sit higher in the driver position, but while using the fel, I placed my foot on top of the treadle, and it was comfortable.
The position of the steering wheel, for myself, needs to be in the up position.
It seems that sitting higher makes using reverse easier.
So, I am comfortable with the seating, with the reversible seat.

I'd be curious if the cab model backhoe was available to you, and if they'd swap out for it. Comes with it's own seat, no? Kinda has to.....

Good point , I hadn't thought of that.
Perhaps somebody out there with a B2650 or 8B350 cab model with backhoe could help us out with some information on your unit.
