I friend of mine has that same exact truck(with lots more miles) and it is becoming a money pit, wouldn't touch one for any money myself.
Kindly explain.
whereas in a few years the 11-year-old one will need to be replaced.
Take a look at KBB.com on comparably-equipped Tacoma and Frontier. I ran a 2004 extended cab, base model + air conditioning, 35K miles each. The Frontier was just under $8000, the Tacoma just over $12,100. In my experience, Toyota dominates the segment for a reason.
Under what conditions does a 15yo vehicle with less than 100K miles on it need to be replaced?
