Tom is a target cause he believes that the constitution means what it says.

He was a member of the board of the NRA. Always stands for the constitution. Definitely makes him a target for the biased news media.

I remember a story about Randolf Hearst during the Spanish American war. He sent a reporter to Cuba to cover the war. The reporter told him nothing much was going on. Hearst responded "just send me the pictures I will write the war" Nothing has changed in the news media since.

The media is always out for the sensational - if it bleeds, it leads - right or wrong. They could care less if the story is correct or not - - they know we will forget it in less that two days and look for other "sensational" news.

I wonder where this company gets their water from? The foundry I work at goes through a lot of bottled water from this company. Packaging says it's bottled in Ontario California. Seems strange that they are shipping water all over the U.S. from a drought stricken state.

Polo - This is maybe just one of many reasons that CA is short on water.

Media has been strangely silent since the admission all water was legally paid for at the time the tankers were filled.

Just prior... one could not watch a newscast without seeing Tom's picture and water thief...

Guilty until proven innocent.

I wonder if there will be a defamation payout???

Although it was implied, the article I read didn't state that he had been stealing the water; it merely said that he had been taking it. He always seemed like a straight shooter to me so I wondered what would turn up.
And now we know;
the REST of the stor-ey.

Just received my water bill... 58 days at 64 gpd for the household and yard... $151.29

For 3712, or even 3740, gallons of water in nearly 2 months? WOW! And what is included in the water bill? Our last monthly "water" bill was $78.92 for 5660 gallons, but that's $30.64 for water, $33.49 for sewer, $8.12 for weekly garbage and/or recycling collection, $6.00 drainage fee, and $.67 for garbage sales tax. Now we do get a little bit of a "senior citizen discount", but it really isn't a lot.

So for 2 months, our bill is close to yours, but the amount of water consumed is much greater in our case.

I'd be happy to have my septic tank pumped and sent to california. It would probably pull a premium price as the energy drink: "Brown Bull". I'd give Hollywood first crack at it. They could serve it up at a bar named "Floaters".
