Yes, it's the same. The 2032 just a rebadged 2720, they changed the model numbly to comply with the new numbering scheme JD went to.

For the grapple you mentioned, be sure to check out the new offering from Artillian as well, and of course the fork sets, nothing would fit your machine better. There are a few threads with pics over on the GTT forum.

I already have pallet forks so Artillian's modular system, while cool, doesn't make sense for me. Their third-function kit looks like it's put-together perfectly though! I've got to get through some home renovations before I have time to mess with modifying the tractor. What's the approximate install time for a kit like that?

For the Artillian 3rd function kit, what does the "aux power plug" entail. Does it have a pigtail that plugs in somewhere inline in the wiring harness of the tractor, sort of like plug-and-play trailer light kits for cars? Or is it just a cigarette lighter plug that you actually physically plug into the aux power on the tractor?

I didn't mean to sound like I was criticising the price. I didn't know what to expect for cost and it's a bit over my threshold for an impulse buy once I factor in the top & tilt cylinders. It looks like a fantastic solution and it's definitely on my wish-list though!

I apologize for my tone last night. I build this stuff 7 days a week and just had a bad day yesterday. It really is a very good if not the best system available for these tractors. But yes my stuff is not the cheapest way to go, you can fool around sourcing the stuff yourself and if by chance you were to actually get the same parts as I provide, maybe, just maybe you could buy everything and not spend to much more money than what I charge for the whole system. Or you can buy from me, get the whole kit at once and be operational in about a day. If you know what your doing, maybe 1/2 a day.

Just an alternative for you, it's not for everyone. ;)

I understand completely. And it's much more important to me to get the "right" setup and not the cheapest. Your product looks awesome and if/when I pull the trigger on hydraulic top/tilt you'll be shipping a kit to Michigan.

Of course that depends on ones skill/comfort level when it comes to turning wrenches, but 1-2 hours is about correct. Yes, it is a complete, well thought out plug-n-play kit.

The "aux" plug they are referring to is the power/cigarette lighter plug that is on the right fender (the early 2520's did not have this option however).

I bought and installed the Artillian kit. Has everything you need in the box and goes together quick. I spent more time on the electric than the rest. Connected behind the power outlet and it took me some time to get there. Lots of other choices there. Like how it works and would recommend it to anyone with with a 2032R or similar machine.

I just paid about $1400 for the dealers to put on the third remote valve. The control lever sits under my right forearm. I use it for a grapple - excellent addition, but expensive.

This on a new 2032R. Also note the the loader arm are tie-wrapped with the new hydro lines, so it is not so simple to move the entire loader any more.

The simple addition of QD's where the other ones are would have eliminated that issue. Your dealer should have suggested that...

Also I think the three-spool kit form FitRite is about the same price you paid for the single one from JD.

QD's yes we discussed that, and I said NO for now.

"Also I think the three-spool kit form FitRite is about the same price you paid for the single one from JD." Roger that! But being the new kid on the block, I thought I would Buy Once, Cry Once.

Too bad it took about 6 more friendly visits to the dealer to everything to work correctly . Grrrr
