Another 275 gallons of water delivered to thirsty transplants.

Checked the bluebird house - at least three of the four eggs have hatched.

Since there are now hungry mouths to feed I'll pick up some meal worms when I head out to the Kubota dealer here in a bit.

mg,

We got a short sprinkle this morning ... wasn't even hardly enough to settle the dust.

Still pretty cloudy though in spots ... so it could still happen.

I was on a team at my lodge that performed Masonic last rites. I went to a bunch of funerals over 3 years. We had several guys that were in their 90's, one was 100. Very few folks at the really old guys, they had outlived their contemporaries by decades in most cases.

Yes to negotiated tax liens. Concern is calling them and having them decide to refile the tax lien instead of letting it expire.
Went over a lot of alternatives/options today with lawyer and sitting tight and being patient seemed to be best, though Don he said if they really wanted their money now vs next year, it was up to the seller to make this happen.

First we were going to have a few showers. Then the forecast cleared. Then of course we got seriously dumped on, about an inch of rain which luckily got sucked up pretty quickly. Looks like another blast tonight. Super humid this afternoon, just awful being outside.

I got my new belt for my zero turn, I'll get to that tomorrow. I am still waiting on a new shower valve from Moen.
it's been about 10 days, I want to get the shower working!! I needed new springs on the garage door, I called a local guy, I was surprised when a guy from Detroit showed up. Turns out, they had bought out a lot of small door companies during the crash. The tech says they have 800 numbers, operate in 19 counties. He replaced the 1 spring with 2, cleaned and lubed it, all in less than 30 minutes. The springs look better, plastic coated. But the price was higher than I planned, over $400. Oh well.

that's mighty hot for you Roy...sounds like a Vermont iced tea day.

70 here going up to mid 80's, wet day, showers due in, supposedly over an inch projected but radar doesn't look like that, unless we get afternoon showers again.
.66 inches yesterday, would have been nice if it came down over a couple of hours instead of twenty minutes but we'll take it.

Might take the truck for an oil change later today, something to get done on a wet day. Yesterday morning I heard almost two full seconds of fairly loud valve tap when I started the engine in the garage after sitting only overnight. Hmmmm. That's not good. Immediately checked the hemi's oil, which was fine, but perhaps putting a fresh load of synthetic oil in there will help. I can understand a little valve tap if something has been sitting for months, but overnight? this truck only has 3500 miles on it, odd for a new engine. But not the first time this has happened to me. Dodge/Chrysler put a brand new replacement engine in for me on an almost new Dodge Intrepid company car years back. Same valve tap...an ominous memory.

Good Morning All. 72 here and going to 94.

Installing the brake controller in my wife's truck today. May finish mowing the back yard that I started yesterday? Gotta clean up the trailer parking area so I have a place to put this new horse trailer tomorrow night when we get home.

Have a Dr's appt. in town at 3:30. Does anyone else here use an Acupuncturist? She is been the best pain management I have found.

I am going through my latest Agri Supply catalog to see what all I need to pick up. Will have to stop by on my way tomorrow. LOL
