I am looking for a non-hydro tractor with a cab and turf tires that will fit under a 94 inch doorway. Does Kubota have anything that meets these conditions?
I don't think you are going to find a non-hydro,cabbed tractor that size.With-out cabs there are several choices(folding ROPS).Curious ,what's the problem with HST's.
Thanks for the post. That is what I thought, but I wanted to be sure (love Kabota quality). I test drove the hydro, and it makes a sound I find irritating. The tractor is for mowing long hours at the same speed without shifting, and I like the simplicity of a manual transmission. I guess I'll have to choose another brand.

Any reason you cannot visit the Kubota web site and research the answer for yourself, or pose this question to your dealer?
The LS XR3037C is a cab tractor with a 12x12 synchro shuttle shift and supposed to be 87 inches to top of the cab. That is with AG tires.. Turfs should be a bit less. I don't know if a tad over 30 PTO horsepower is enough for you. The LS XR4040C is a 16x16 and is 91.1 inches to top of cab. With 32.4 PTO horsepower.
Kioti NX4510 24x24 synchronized Cab model has 37.1 PTO horse, with 94.1 to top of cab... with AG tires.. undoubtedly less with Turf.
Wonder what range you had the hydro in when you noticed the whine? HI range equal more whine..
Me I will never buy another gear tractor... The benefits to hydro are just to great.
My L5740 goes under my 96" garage door with a couple inches to spare. Turf tires are smaller in diameter than the R-4's with which mine is equipped. I believe the new Grand L 60's are the same height so any Grand L Glide Shift should fit the bill. However I don't remember seeing dealers stock Glide Shifts as most everybody wants hydros. Also, dealers don't really want to go by the spec sheet when the customer asks. The ones I have asked have someone go out and measure just to make sure. By the way, when I was shopping for my L5740, I found the ROPS to be slightly taller than the cab although you can fold the ROPS.
