As it turned out, I got the same price here in the Northeast that I could get anywhere else, so I don't know why you think prices are 'much higher' in here.

I agree. About a year ago went and got prices from my closest dealer for DK 40-50. The prices were 29K-low 30K and that was without a cab.

Best I can get is 35.5 wit 2 remotes, yet I hear you can get 33.5? Where can I get this price?

I called a local dealer here in Richmond VA area today and he said 33-35k for a 4510 with cab and loader. I am going to start looking out near Staunton and Harrisonburg since that is where my land is.

In Harrisonburg, by a phone quote,
4510 was 29,700
5010 was 32k
5510 was 33k
And 6010 was 34,900. I'm driving out there this week. Gonna test drive the 4510. Probly go bigger if I buy.

Is that cash or financing prices? Not sure what you're going to be using the tractor for, but the RX series is significantly heavier, with bigger tires, for not much more money.

He is wanting HST , the RX doesn't offer that.

That is a good question. I assumed it was the cash price. I will double check. I am looking for an HST. Wife has experience driving a manual tractor, moving irrigation pipe out west about 25 years ago. She drove a kubota l4701 and loved it. So it's gonna be HST.

The use is for 55 acres or gently rolling land. About 7-8% grade. 30 acres are being clear cut and stumps popped on 5-10 acres. Tractor will be used to tidy up the land for an orchard, and just about anything else we can think of. Eventual goal is 20 acres of apples and a cidery.

I called Tractor Hill. The price he mentioned was competitive and he has 2 6010's in stock. According to google maps he is almost the same distance from the place in Harrisonburg. He said under 35k with discounts, FEL, tires loaded. Financing is also available at the price, but not the 0%.
I'm going to swing by there this week. I have to drive to harrisonburg anyway, since my daughter is going in to the hospital tomorrow to be induced. Might meet my new grandchild and find a tractor all in one week.
