New Kioti NX5010 owner.

I just pulled the trigger on my first tractor. I have spent months researching different brands and options. I want to thank EricTheOracle for posting really good videos about his tractor.

We just purchased 50+ acres in middle TN and yesterday the tractor arrived. I'll post some videos of what my impressions are and what not. I'm by no means an expert operator or owner, I typically learn by doing tons of research and doing. I do feel like a kid when moving dirt with this thing though

The main usages will be building roads, moving dirt, prepping house sites, digging ditches.

I got the NX5010 HST with cab. 6 foot cutter, box blade, pallet forks, front loader (duh) and backhoe.

I'm in the process of searching for good UTF oil for this tractor, and for my 50 hour service I plan to switch out to Shell Spirax S4 TXM. It's pretty expensive, so if there are better options available please feel free to chime in!

You've got to be pretty pleased with yourself!

I've been using Mobilfuild 424. I have no local source and no alternative that I've found. Lacking an oil lab nearby, I have no idea where to go to find out. I've looked all over the internet and I haven't found anything I can easily get my hands on so hopefully a fresh set of eyes will be able to dig something up!

Can you do me a favor? Can you take a couple of detailed shots as to how Kioti locates the mounts for the subframe? I don't have a backhoe, but if I trip over a used one, I'd like to know how where Kioti locates their backhoe mounts on the 2485, so I know where to locate the mounts for any subframe I fab up for it.

No reason to Agh. The loader says KL6010 and tends to obscure the NX5010 logos on the sides of the rear lower hood.

Anyway, all of the NXs have KL6010 loaders and the tractors are identical except the 5510 and 6010 have slightly bigger tires and are cat 1 and 2 compatible three points.

Without cross referencing part numbers, I strongly suspect a EROM flash is what is different in 45-60 hp versions, much the same as modern boat motor and some (some) car engine families that share the same block.

Thank you. I've got 2-3 hours on the backhoe now, it's pretty jerky if you don't go really smooth and slowly "flow" the controls.

The only annoyance is the locking bracket which slams down (as you see in the video) if you bring the boom to far back.

The Traveller Premium Universal Hydraulic Fluid at TSC is reportedly made by Warren. It's what I am using in my NX4510HST cab. Can tell no change in performance from what the tractor was delivered with.
