Has anybody tried the Hi Point handguns?

Yep love my 686plus... by the math here, I can take on 8 guys.

Lots of dudes I shoot NRA Action Pistol with have highly tuned 686's and they are sweet!

Not quite as powerful as a .357, but that extra round could make up for it.
I had a 686 stainless until things got tight (somebody wasn't paying their bills, so I had to sell to pay mine. )

This year though I'll pick up the HiPoint, which will allow me to also replace my Mark II stainless that I sold during the above mentioned tight spot.

That's why I got the stainless S&W 686P P=Plus extra round making 7 on the wheel. Beautiful revolver and my favorite. I went with the 4in as this is very well balanced IMO. 6in is too front heavy for me.

Yes, more like an explosion. Try shooting one in an indoor range for the full effect.

Unfortunately Hi-Point firearms have a magazine disconnect safety so you'd be left with just a club. View attachment 442193

Now that you mention that, when my wife took the defensive course that the police dept. in the town we lived in offered. We had one gun, a Dan Wesson .357 in a 6" barrel. Shot really good, she qualified. One thing they did teach her was how to use the gun itself as a weapon when the bullets were gone. The revolver cylinder opens and hold it in the palm and stick fingers through where the cylinder would normally close. Makes a heck of good whacking object then. Have lots of others she uses now but that was impressive to see a tiny red head use a weapon like that! Kept me in line all these years...lol :ashamed:

I remember a rock concert I went to, and my ears rang for a week or more. We just didn't know any better.

I went to a bar that had a live band, which was way too loud for that small building. (Or at least I say so now.) The next day I took my truck in for warrantee work, and they were remodeling, using a power nailer with blank .22s. Yikes!

They used one of these guns in the movie blade runner, they modified it to fire all 4 bbls at once in the movie.
