We had a Kenmore dishwasher installed when we built the house, but have never used it. With just the 2 of us, it is easier to wash them by hand. Hmmm, I have a new 11 yo dishwasher I can sell you for the cost of a replacement cabinet. :laughing:

Good evening all. 68F this morning, made it to 88F this afternoon. Mostly sunny today, got very breezy for a short while this afternoon. Got the bike ride in, went to check the dish on the bicycle wheel and it was all wrong. Sooo loosen the spokes fix the dish err, got lateral runout ok, now back to roundness :ashamed: .

David Sometimes what you do to improvise are more fun than the original plan. If everone shows up to celebrate a birthday, it will get celebrated properly :2cents:

I once read a funny story while I was in Greeley Co. They had a story in the local paper about a couple that had been married for like 60 years or so. The wife said that she had grown up on the flat lands and that her husband had grown up in the mountains. She said that since they moved up to the mountains after marrying, things were a bit rocky until one of her legs finally grew shorter than the other and she could walk on the side of the mountain thereafter.

David, it looks like you need to change the theme from a "Bon Fire Party" to a good old "Texas Hurricane Party". Thats where you grill everything in the freezer and with your adult beverage sit back and watch everybody get frantic as the eye passes.

For Many year my Ex referred to me as "Hurricane David" because I enter the room like namesake and if you don survive to the eye you do not realize I am a decent good guy with lots of energy & my GF was Nicknames Tory Tornado for similar reasons (clearly we wee made for each other)... LOL...

I was looking at new dishwashers earlier this year as well, WNG. Got so discouraged at the wide spread reports of early failures and spotty quality I decided to stick with the 8 year old one I already have until it quits. Let us know how you do with your new one, OK?!

We had several dishwashers over the years. Only Fisher Pykel DD actually washed the dishes. It will eat all soft stuff such pasta, rice, potatoes without rinsing it first. It will wash most of burned food from pots and the best part is you can take it apart without tools in about 3 minutes. And you have a redundancy. If one dies you still have the second working.
