I have the Ag tires on my B3200. I find it a bit difficult getting up my driveway when on ice. Will chains be a good investment for this winter? I am wondering how much of a difference between the two.

Thank you.

I have a set of ladder chains for mine (R4 tires). They definitely make a big difference when there is ice under the snow. Most winters I don't need them but there have been a few times when the came in really handy.

Thanks for input fellas. We here in NH have similar WX to you in Central NY. I spent 2007-2011 in Rochester and I recall there was no lack of snow. Driveway here is a gnarly 1500' so B3200 is plan B for a beat up old plow truck.

Not sure on your B3200 model but have read some Kubota owners had to buy spacers to move the rear wheels out for room to install chains. Check the gap between tires and frame before ordering chains.

My B3300SU with r4s needed spacers so you might too. There are after market spacers. Also you might try custom made atv chain that don't require as much space.
Look at your fenders, I think you'll find there is less than 2" of clearance. Not enough for "real" chains.

I couldn't justify the expence of spacers and chains so I just screwed in a few hundred atv ice studs into the rubber.

Perhps not a bad idea but what do you do in the spring? Take them out again? Sounds like a big pain to me.

Do you loose any through the winter? I'm sure the truck tires would be happy to find them for you.

No, I left them in. Lasted about 400hrs. They wore down (I did not buy the more expensive carbide tiped ones). Very few came out but I guess flats could be a concern.
They did work realy well with ice and frozen ground.
