Wow. Unbelievable. Truly.
This is why it is hard for me to buy new...
Don't won't to be a guinea pig.
Buying new comes with expectations and rightfully high expectations.
Maybe, but the alternative is to buy someone else's problems...
Think of all the things that are wrong with these tractors that you can't see. Inside the engine, trans, diff etc. That's what caused all of my frustration, and my internal mechanical problems didn't start to show up until after 200 hours. John Deere products are still nice to operate, but quality has gone downhill fast. After an all night set on the concrete in the barn, I discover a puddle of fluid, appears to be antifreeze. I crawl under to investigate and see they also had removed a bolt that held a bracket for all the fuel lines, now fuel lines are rubbing the block...:mur:, called the dealer hes sending me a bolt, I guess I'm going to try to find the mysterious antifreeze leak and hope its just a hose clamp....beyond frustrated. Where is the quality control? You would think with the issues I have already had they would have went over this tractor with a fine tooth comb to be sure there were zero issues.
