Good to hear. A fan or blower in a window or door can also help the situation a lot. Just keeping air moving helps, but is not a substitute for a mask. It just helps keep the dust load down.

Why aren't you using a tbar for the floor? That's the tool for the job... Easy to find locally at HD/etc, not too costly, and MUCH better than a brush. You'd be done in 30 min tops. Example Padco T - Bar Professional Floor Coater - 18" - Tape Applicators - Amazon.com
