Buying Advice Advice on Bobcat CT225 2010

Corrosion around the battery terminals and battery tray.

All the filters should have been changed on the hydro ( 2 )

This unit might have the previous generation of loader on it, which had some issues with cracking in the cross member between the loader arms.

Other than that...

I think the loader on the Bobcats is not Kioti, maybe Woods, so it would not have the cracking issue that the KL120 and 130 did.

The loader on the early bobcat tractors was made by rhino. They changed from rhino to their own bobcat made loader sometime around 2010/2011. The older style loader has the curved loader arms where as the newer loader has the angled loader arms I do not know why they changed. I forgot to mention before that I did have problems with my stock bobcat brand battery. It would leak if I used the tractor on a very steep incline. This was evident from new so I replaced it with a gel type battery. I also heard of two other things on some of the early tractors. Some had a fuel injection or fuel solenoid problem can't remember exactly And heard of a couple of problems with a Hydro cooler. It's pretty much the same tractor as a Kioti CK 27 so you could research those as well I think that's where I heard of the later of the two problems I mentioned. All machines are going to have their specific issues but I think overall The bobcat tractors are top notch.

The only major issue I know of with the Kioti CKs is the loader problem, which is almost ancient history now, and the IP issue through 2008, neither are an issue here I believe. Of course, the usual stuff with any used tractor still applies.
