I saw some 8/4 lumber in Craigslist that I was interested in. I called Thursday, and his wife answered. She said he was working to call back Saturday. I have called 3 times today (Saturday) with no answer. If I can't get ahold of him tomorrow I guess I'll give up.

I have a 16 I'll sell you. Old savage bolt action. Odd gun but functional and you won't shoot yourself.

If you were closer I might take you up on that. A bolt does seem odd in a shotgun, but they are out there.

If it had been in perfect condition, it might have been worth it. I suppose shells are available, although I don't recall seeing any of late...12 and 20 are plentiful though. If you have a 28 gauge, shells probably are a challenge. I recently bought a 20 gauge Winchester Model 12, manufactured in 1937; very good condition. Twenty gauges you don't see every day, especially for $250.
