Good morning!!!!

32 this morning and headed to 58 today.

Need to move a tractor today. Since mine isn't coming. Went back to dealer Wednesday and heard same song but different dance about why they've missed 4 delivery dates. Tractor still was at factory. They couldn't go get it. Got my deposit back and told them to call when it was sitting on lot. Manager said he wasn't going to get it if it wasn't sold. So I guess I'm back to looking for a tractor.

Then start on chicken coops or try and finish my bush hogging. Have yet to decide.

Modern Gun Deer season opens tomorrow but doubt I will hunt. But do need to move some cows around so they aren't in the woods that boarder the public land. The deer population is coming back up. We've been moved back to zone 2. Which is 4 does or 1 buck and 3 does and two full weeks to hunt. Been zone 3 for last 3-4 years. We had 2 bad blue tongue years in a row and then a hard winter and we lost a lot of deer those years.

Don, my 2012 Club Car Precedent has worked very well, has independent suspension with shock absorbers and handles bumps pretty well. three two gallon watering cans fit in the golf bag compt. and it's my do everything machine except in the woods or pulling things. Very pleased with it, except one tail light fell off when the glue failed. No screws, which was odd.

Only real issue is two seats or four. I bought it used two years ago and replaced the batteries with Trojans this year. Scoots right along. But it does not have a lift kit so I have no idea how that affects the ride.

I think we are all smiling about sitting up in a tree hunting while also surfing the net and keeping up with one's tractor buddies.
And to be able to bring a drone out to look for deer? priceless...

Farmer, sorry to hear about the bad experience. Which tractor company is so backed up?

Something is really odd there. When you got your deposit back, was it a check? Did it clear? Anytime I've bought cars, trucks, tractors, the sales folks wanted to get the sale done ASAP. When I bought my Kubota, the dealer had 3 other L3400's in his building, HST's and gear drives. Old saying from the peddlers - "You can't sell from a empty cart".

It was LS. But not a company issue. It was at the plant ready. 4 hours away. But the dealer wasn't motivated to go get it.

They handed me the check that I wrote them back. Yea they weren't motivated. Probably be the last time I bother going in there.

69°F and 4 inches rain last 24 hours.

Be safe
Have a great day

I used to do cylinder head volume checks, but the liquid we used non toxic anti freeze. It has a rust preventative in it, and isn't nasty to have on your hands. Paint thinner sounds bad.

I wasn't real thrilled using paint thinner either, Irv. Besides being flammable, it easily formed bubbles that were difficult to remove from under the plexiglass. Next time I'll give antifreeze a try. Thanks!

Took boy to allergist yesterday. His individual allergy test scores came back as low as they could. His total score was 51. Anything under 100 is normal. So allergist said to call if we needed anything but no reason for her to see him anymore. She then talked to us about the ENT visit and the tubes, speaking highly of the doctor we chose.

That's great news, Farmer! Hopefully the tubes are all he needs to clear up his ear infections. In my case the Eustachian tubes were undersized and weren't allowing the inner ear to drain properly and the ear drum tubes solved that problem. Once I got older the problem went away on it's own and I've been fine ever since.
