As someone mentioned, if there is a defect in material or workmanship it will be covered as long as you are still in the warranty period. Having said that, the buckets are sort of light for the power the backhoe has. Yet we have sold a ton of these, and bucket issues are rare. No problem in most circumstances, but in heavy rock or doing demo work I can see how you could mess one up. I like your idea of reinforcing it. If you do that, let me recommend that you install tooth holders like you see on a mini-excavator, as opposed to the crimp on style. Easier to change, they last longer and are widely available. Then weld some straps on the bottom and you will have a heavy bucket. I'd add a pin bushing on the opposite side also. As far as I know, Mahindra does not offer a heavy duty bucket on that model. Rarely will anyone ask for a heavier bucket unless they come from a commercial operator background and are used to heavier machines.
