Have at least 2 hawks. Saw a pair flying south, ( they don't migrate). Watched them till the went out of site. Hoped to see their mating richual ( SPELLING?? ) have had the privilege of see it once. If interested there may be a video on you tube. Its the same for eagles.
Coyote came to the north gate. Hunting has not been good for it, ribs were showing. Mother Bobby was going to get it.
She also chases off the helicopters
Quail are drifting back. just not the number as there should be or were here..

If you want to loose weight, forget the high priced diets & pills.
Just skip 1 meal a day. I have been over 250# a couple of times in my life & that is how I got down. Use to say my fighting weight was 185#. Now I need to put on 50# to get there.
Almost impossible to keep Riley out of the truck when I go some place. Tried to outrun her the other day. Even 20 mph is about as fast as possible arond here. She ran right beside the door for around 400 yards, so I let her in. Long ride & several stops. She never really tried to get out. 3 Hours give or take a little.
If any of you have diabetes. Mesquite beans will help you control your sugar. They digest very slowly & will help maintain sugar levels.
Mrs Healy was quite the lady. There were several inaccuracies in the article. She did not climb the rock. I used a stick to put the rope around its neck. Was living in the rock house at the time. It had a screened in front porch about 12 by 40. Within 2 days that cub was laying there, head in her lap drinking out of a baby bottle.
