52 in light rain, not going up in temp, but as with others, a real drop in temps tonight and particularly Monday night.
Kev, nice job. Are you going to paint or stain?
Ron, don't push it (literally), let them get the snow out of there first. Too bad your motorhome will now be covered in salt.

12 F this morning, emphasis on the F! Everything covered in snow. The forecasters really missed it here, a day or two ago the low was supposed to be 19 F with only 1 inch of snow. I hope it warms up and melts off soon, it's too early in the season for this cr*p. Thinking about a new goose down jacket from Cabela's, I've been wearing the same one for at least 10 years. Goose down is the only way to go in my opinion.

Yes, will be watching the last Nascar race in the warm house today. Go Kyle Busch!

I'm trying my best not to turn on the heater for the first time, but my home is not insulated well. Keeping the kids wrapped in blankets. Both plasma tv's put out a good bit of heat. Just opened all the blinds to the east. Sun is shining in strong. Should warm up about the time we get back from church.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning. 0940, overcast, 55F with 85% humidity. Forecast high of 59F with 20% chance of rain, and a low of 35F tonight. I drove through a light rain at 0100 this morning when I was coming in from work. Looking at the how wet the back deck is, it must have kept up most of the night. You guys with all your snow is making me cold. I have to put up a few more 2X4's, then get Margie to help me stretch plastic on a cobbled together greenhouse today. I have plenty of glass, and had planned to have a nice one built by now, but somehow that project got put behind my camp, so out into the cold I go . . . . . My older Pruden's Purple tomatoes have all produced really well and are about done, but I have another bunch that is full of small fruit that I just don't want to give up on. The same with peppers. We have just started picking from the Grand Bell Mix and the older chili and Jalapenos are still cranking out the peppers.

I will be good with who ever wins today, but it would be nice to see Jeff bring home another championship for the 24 car before that kid from Dawsonville started to string together a streak of his own.

You guys have a good one,

Larro

Good morning all, snow here yesterday but only enough to turn the grass white. Going to watch Jeff Gordon run his last race and hopefully he can go out on top.

Good Morning! 57F @ 8:00AM. A mix of clouds and sun. High 67F. Winds light and variable.

A few days ago "they" were predicting a cold and wet Thanksgiving weekend, but now I see that what little rain remains in the forecast will happen Tuesday morning instead. We'll just be left with the cold, or at least what passes for it, with highs in the low 50s. I guess I should be happy that we're not getting snow like you folks in Michigan!

Got the valves set all the way around yesterday, and one carb disassembled and into the hot ultrasonic cleaner. Ran it an hour, then shut it off and let the parts soak overnight in a strong detergent solution. I'll fire it up again here in a few minutes and let them cook for another hour before rinsing and reassembling with all new rubber and otherwise wearing parts. Once it's back together I'll do the other one the same way. I try not to take them both apart at the same time so I have something to refer to at re-assembly time. They both wouldn't fit in the ultrasound anyway. Should be good as new when they're done.

Nice sunset beside a camp fire last night. Built the fire with drops and short ends from bucking and splitting the firewood here, and that pile has been sitting out without any cover. We've had so little rain so far it fired right up with just a splash of #2 Diesel. Worked on my multi tasking: tending the fire, BBQing some salmon, watching the sunset, listening to some Tom Petty, and sipping a beer.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Good morning all. 29F this morning, with a heavy frost, clear w/ light south breeze. Could not find windshield scraper for van this morning so had to improvise. Today's forecast is for 54F light winds and clear skies. Leaf duty is the most notable TMA, followed by some football watching as napping permits :D
