Only bad place was my yard and drive. Tractor took care of that in less 30 minutes. Could have got out before 8am. But had to wait for son to get to our place. He is spending the winter at our place. Close to his work. Made it to Wyitheville, VA. Little over 500 miles. Our son can play in the snow. While we play in the sun.

We tried the squirt bottle. This cat is pretty weird, it was the runt of the litter, never got any bigger, sick a lot. It's health improved after the relocation, but the behavior is the same. Mostly it's harmless, but it can be tiresome. It's 13 now, and still just the way she was when she showed up in our barn.

I heard the official count was just shy of 17 inches. It was enough. I did my drive, a path to the shop and barn, a path out alongside the pasture to walk the dogs, and 2 of my neighbors. A long day, started @ 8 and finished about 2:30. Had lunch, showered, I was going to work on a couple of projects, but the wife said to take it easy. I can do that! It was hard to do the shoveling, the snow was very wet, sloppy, and the snow blower just kinda dumped it, it didn't throw it very far. Problem with this much snow using a back blade on the tractor is that the volume is too much, it pours over the top very quickly. And since it was wet, it wanted to plug up also.

Drew, no long johns, just arm warmers and leg warmers and a wind breaker. Took jacket off after 20 miles, turned downwind.

Welcome to Virginia you are 1.5 hours from me a little chilly but no snow and think we will be snowless until January 2016. Safe travels and enjoy your time in South West Virginia
