Maybe you'll get lucky with the shipping and have a Kubota for Christmas.

Congratulations on you new Kubota, I am a big fan of the HST+. No doubt a finish mower will give you a really nice cut, we have a 7' and 8', but got tired of changing implements and now just use a RCR2672 on our L5740HSTC and Woods DS1260 on our M8540HDC on all areas and it looks good enough for us, we mow every two weeks. The thee acres in the background was mowed using a rotary cutter. We use it in the woods, fields, pond levies, road ditches etc.

Very nice...I would love to have a cab for the hot summers here in Houston...not so worried about the winter. I keep thinking about changing my order but the cab money would buy a bunch of other things. From what I can tell in the picture, the lawn looks great.

Thank you...and, yes, that would be a GREAT Christmas present!

I actually have a 6' Land Pride rotary mower on order right now but I have been really torn between that and a finish mower. I'm not certain I want to buy both and I have convinced myself (maybe wrongly) that the rotary mower will be fine for most of the areas further away from the house Plus, I can use it to help cut a trail (and maintain it) in the brush and woods behind my house.

My wife will be the captain of a zero turn mower for in-close work.

Zero turn for close-in and Rotary Cutter/Bush Hog for farther out is an ideal combination.

That's my hope...thanks for the confirmation!

No doubt about the cost of the cab, but I have several open station tractors I can no longer use due to allergies and age so it's sure worth it to me. Age is inevitable and I've learned to think long term. For a lot of people a cab is not worth the cost and for others it is. I have a friend who has a three year old tractor he sure wishes he could have a "do over" and my dad used open station all his life.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Enjoy the site.

Thanks...always like to hear from Downunder! I am on a recumbent bike forum that is pretty active from folks down there.

You make a very good point. Afterall, I DID say that I was buying my one-and-done tractor. I might have to think a little harder about this...and buy my DW flowers, chocolates, weekend away to the destination of her choice, etc.
