heck i dont know what i meant?

I was trying to say ever since the 80s when Yanmar quit making and shipping tractors over painted in green for JD that they all have yanmar engines in them, but the other parts are not yanmar.

My JD 650 is Yanmar from weight bracket to drag links and a MIGHTY FINE example of a hard working piece of equipment..

The powershift is very useful for loader work. I would recommend 4wd for loader also. (my 2210 is 2wd) I have been in several situations with a full loader and wishing I had 4wd. Still I get the job done.

Ah! No. I really don't do the picture upload thing. You can easily find a ym2210 on the net. Just google it. I am familiar with the JD2210. Your machine is much more modern and smaller. (sub compact) Like a big lawn tractor. I think they all have hst transmissions. The ym2210 is large compact tractor. Very similar to the JD 850 or 950 as well as the old built for America Yanmar 240.

When I bought my Yanmar 15 years ago the dealer would not sell a 2wd tractor with loader nor install a loader on a 2wd tractor for safety reasons, (lack of engine braking with lightened rear end).

Ha! I bought my YM240 with loader ('could use some TLC') from a fireman (who should be safety aware) who had a 2 acre horsey place.

Left brake was stuck so bad I couldn't pull it up, but at least it wasn't dragging. I asked him how do you get this thing stopped in a straight line. He replied "no problem just drop the bucket when you arrive where you're going". WTH?

At least that was easy to disassemble and free up, no parts needed.

YM2210; 2Wheel drive, 25Hp, 22Hp-PTO, 2-Cly, 2T90 engine, PowerShift, 79~

Very nice with the Powershift. Allows the PTO to be live whilst in the neural shifting, thus mowers and other implements don't wind down and back up whence shifting from forwards to reverse. Great for mowing!
