I have a 5M and so far it's been a great machine. I use it mostly for loader work and as heavy as it is, I wish it were still heavier. I have the rear wheel weights and usually hook up a box blade for rear weight (need to get my rears loaded and a proper ballast box). The e-pto is great as it allows you to run it at much lower rpm when using brush hogs etc.

My field work with my Kubota is 90% PTO related. Wish it had an E-PTO equivalent.

I can't complain about my M7040's pto fuel consumption as it uses around 2 GPH pulling a 9' disc cutter.

My 5093E was using 5gph mowing. Haven't mowed with my MF yet but even with 30hp and a few thousand pounds more it is by far easier on fuel then the JD. So far averaged just over 2gph over 230 hours of mostly manure spreading and bale feeding. About 7 litres of urea.

I traded a 5045D for a 5083E and I love it. No issues at all... I am at 500 hours...

My neighbor thought the fuel gauge on his new 7040 was bad but it was just low fuel consumption.
