I like those... All other handguns are left far behind. It's a little more than a hand gun, but not a machine pistol. Great gun, and price is reasonable considering your at the pinnacle already. The MG is just a belt feed semi, but it makes a gigantic impression when you see it, it's menacing. HS

Okay boys, I went to the indoor range today, shot the Glock 43 and the S&W Shield, both 9mm. Wow, I was surprised! I like the Smith better! It just felt a lot better in my hands, and I could shoot better with it. But, Curly, now you have me wanting to try a revolver. I'd really not thought too much about that, until you said about it being easier to conceal. That never occurred to me. Oh me, back to thinking revolver too!

I compared some of the very light Scandium revolvers to the S&W 3913 I have.

"Flatness" makes a big difference in being able to conceal and conceal comfortably, and the cylinder of a revolver is much wider. A good revolver is wonderful to shoot but there is good reason why guns like the Shield make up most of the market.

If you can find one, you might check out a CZ 2075 Rami. I have one and like it a lot. They come in 9mm and 40. They come with both 10 and 14 round magazines. Very high quality gun with plenty of reviews and videos available. It's based on the CZ 75 which is one the most adapted service pistols in the world.

This was exactly the thinking I had looking at the guns. In pictures, on the gun shop counter, and in my hand.

But, now get a good holster for both and try to conceal them. The rounded outlines of the revolver blend in with body contours under clothing much better than the flat slab sides of the pistol. There might be a lump where the cylinder sits, but it doesn't scream "gun" like the outline of the pistol. And, with the right holster and normal clothes (don't have to wear a vest) it can just disappear.

For really deep concealment, try a groin holster. It takes a very practiced eye to tell the difference between a revolver and your own "package". You want comfort -- I frequently lay on the couch and sleep for a couple of hours wearing the gun.

Before I had even heard about this I modified my XDM .45. The trigger was awful and I didn't like the sights. I had a trigger kit and some TruGlo night sights installed. The trigger has about the same trip weight as stock but much less creep and reset travel. I can see my sights much better, day or night. I practice a lot with this gun and feel more secure with it in it's present form.
