Wow! It is almost as if nothing is to be counted on until the deal is closed and the tractor delivered! Even then, they might come back for something more?

Ya... I'm not liking the last few day's... :0)

But I did settle on a price and he is delivering tomorrow.. hopefully all works out.
Got the kioti dk50 hst with the 80" pronovost blower and loader
620hrs...

With the storm we just got today I should be able to have a little fun tomorrow.

Guess I have to wait and see

Ask about the warranty, the 5 year plan is only on the drive train.

It's a 2009.. no more warranty on this one. They wanted over 45k for the LS with warranty.. used with 4 years.. to much money for a 37hp with 90hrs.. for me anyways

Down the road I think you'd find that the Kioti will retain more value.
Nowdays nobody wants geared tractors and I believe that 5-10 yrs later you will have to give them away.
Shucks you can't even get a car with a manual tranny today.

The HST is a big factor when it came down to it. Don't mind geared myself but it's a lot less work for me.. This is my first tractor so of course I'm concerned a bit on breaking something or doing something stupid.. :0) I will probably just go hang out in the cab with the revolving light and radio on.. haha

For a 2009 it's in good shape and 620hrs is pretty low..

Price seems very high for a used LS tractor. I just checked CL and found a dealer here in the states selling a new XR4145C 45HP 16 spd gear with loader (Has a list price of $36,245) and with factory rebates is selling it for $28,3K which would be $38,8K Canadian.
I can't imagine why that dealer wants over 45K for a used 36HP. I guess its his loss.
Good luck with your new to you Kioti. Post the pics when you get it.

Taking the Canadian dollar vs. USD into account, if the Kioti is clean and fully functional (sounds like it is) with a quality blower, cab and some extra useful goodies, I think you did fine! The changing price is what bugged me. I gather that Pronovost blowers are very well made, so snow should almost be a pleasure now. Enjoy.

I agree that the price was high.. I told them they priced me the Ls 4040 for 49.5k and today the price on the used 3037 was almost 45k. . Said to him.. expect me to pay 3k less for a 3hp difference plus used? He got caught in his lies and told me they gave me 2000$ value on my boat.. :0) worth about 7k-8k.. and that was the end of the LS for me..

I'm sure you are correct that once I get in the 50hp with the bigger blower and I'm noticing the HST being less work and the heat hitting my head with good tunes I'll be a happy guy..

I'll upload pics tomorrow.. doesn't seam to work from my phone

As a guy with no cab (barn door is too low, but the real problem is I use the tractor mostly for jobs where a cab would be a hassle) I envy those of you with heated cabs when I am out in the cold, blowing wet snow, getting dumped on by low evergreen branches and freezing my feet. Tunes to boot! Oh well.

Indeed.. I have no place to store either and a cab is a must for me.. in the last few day's all I've been seeing is new tractors go by and it's driving me nuts... :0) Still haven't got the kioti but I should have it by Friday at the latest.. long and frustrating wait but all will go once I get it in my driveway..

No one likes the cold that's for sure.. keep warm!
