Clipse, you just gave me an idea. When I install my lights I should also bring a tap line off the work light.

I'm a bit surprised that the work light is a 10 amp line (uses a halogen bulb) . . while the spare power in the rear is only a 70 watt supply. It would be really easy to use a hi/lo plug end on that 10 amp tap lead to lug a sprayer pump to it etc and use a wireless switch for it . . A lot more convenient than running the switch line all thevway tonthe battery :)

Thrn I'd still have the spare power lead for all the led lighting :)

Either a tap off the worklight or tap right off the main aux power line. I agree Worklight fuse is 10 amp (rated @ 18.4w or 1.3 amps @ 14v) and Aux fuse is 15 amp but only rated to 70W (or 5 amps at 14v).

Yup I would think that would be the easy way to do it. I am not sure if the wiring harnesses are different but looks at the parts books it lists only 1 main wiring harness. Part # 6259809M91

Something especially on the engines are listed for only the 1715/20 vs 1705/10 but most other things are the same.

I assume you can just go ahead and look on the right side wiring harness under the rops that powers R flasher/taillight for a Green/Black wires with connectors on it or taped up. It would be Worklight circuit there that you can use. Since I think the wiring harness is the same for all 4 models.

None that I seen or noticed. Backhoe runs off the hydraulics only. Only 3 hydraulic connections for the BH.

Here is the wiring for the worklight under the R rear fender. I am sure you can use it also to power the LED's and just remove the factory light if you would like to use that circuit for something else.

Did you consider making a rear-facing LED light bar, similar to the forward facing bar but pointing to the rear? Just curious why you used the long LED bar for forward and smaller individual LED units facing rear?

Did you consider making a rear-facing LED light bar, similar to the forward facing bar but pointing to the rear? Just curious why you used the long LED bar for forward and smaller individual LED units facing rear?

Because I designed the mount to swivel the light bar to the rear. So if I need much more light working the backhoe. I can easily swivel the light bar to rear to really light up the work area while digging. I mainly use the single light for back up duty when plowing. Usually turn my body to the right and look back so the light works well there. I am considering of buying another OEM bracket with the light mount (R Side bracket) installing it on the other side and putting another light there to have two back up lights, I also put a extra washer / spacer so I can swivel the back up light to the lateral sides or forward, which makes it more handy.

I figured 2 facing front at 15 degree angles (1 left and 1 right) should give me 150 degree coverage and one rear facing at 60 degree coverage all three with a slight downward angle but all three adjustable vertical and horizontal angles.
I want to try what the rally cars do and point the lights across the front instead of out. This gives them a little more angle around corners.

Until I started really looking around the new generations of LED lighting, I never really knew the quantity of choices that were available. You can get 30 degree spots or 60 degree spreads, or wide angles. I was looking for a horizontal pattern rather than a circular one . . . so the lights I have to install are 6 inches wide and just over an inch tall.

I desired a high degree of watertightness and metal construction with glass lenses. I also wanted low power draw (18 watts per light) and "daylight" coloration rather than soft white. And many offroad lights are designed to flood an area. For me . . I don't need to see 200 feet a way because my travelling speed is in single digits . . while Off roaders are going in double digit speeds. Lastlyr I'll mount mine upside down because wide short lights are normally designed with a "crown" pattern and the rounded up or crown will give me really good closeby coverage. But time will tell if how they work premounted is how tbey will function installed :)
