The Mast Farm Service folks appear to have so good products at excellent pricing. Now if shipping were only cheaper.

No response to my email...but per USPS it is out for delivery which means It will get to my mail box about 5 PM. :cool2: Our subdivision is the last stop on the mail lady's route. Ill probably call Monday as I am curious.

Ill post pictures of my install if folks want them (probably in the customization forum)

Its very likely that the difference in price was a "finder's fee" or whats called a "click charge" or click thru. You really don't think yahoo and google give away their search capability for free just to be nice guys.

Think of it as the sales commission. It isn't the manufacturer's error or fault. Same thing happens on numerous of the things you buy from tractorbynet . . Or many times company websites where the retail store has something on sale cheaper than on the company website. Point is . . You wouldn't have found the product without the kubota link that kubota featured. And the manufacturer will have paid kubota for the effort. This is extremely common and normal activity . . Its wlso why when I do google searches I never choose tbe links that have the "colored" "Ad" inficator on them because they are paid advertuding. Its also why I always go to websites directly.

As an example . . Tractorbynet advertises the Ratchet Rake Snowedge. But I went to Ratchet Rakes webdite on my own because i heard about it from a couple posters and not from Tractorbynets ad. So I ordered mine direct . . .not thru a click thru process or 2nd party. Not a huge difference in price but it was a difference . . .and also because sometimes manufacturers have a sale on their product that 2nd party entities aren't willing to pass on . . Or its quick sales by the manufacturer.

Not sure about the finders fee as the link goes directly to the UTC site - they have several sister sites linked to the main one, but I went through the main site. All appear to be owned by the same parson as the contact information is all UTC.

Good news is the mounts arrived and appear to be very well made with all parts included and good instructions. Bolts and nuts are of good quality. Still no response to my email even after leaving a phone message over the weekend. Ill try and call AM tomorrow as I cant call from work and as they are ET and I am MT, by the time I get home they are closed. What bugs me a bit is shipping on the box is 1/2 what I was charged. But I guess that is what America was built on - free enterprise.

I did get to thinking about the switch install after checking out my dash. Does anyone know where to get some small water tight electrical boxes 2x1x3 or 2x2x3 deep? I'll google later when I get time.

More later - Ill post the install under Customization when I get to it.

These switches are IP 67 rated. They are designed to work in wet/dusty environments. The one with leads attached is pretty self contained.

Get the dust and washdown protection you need. Switches with wire leads are rated IP67. The front side of switches with screw terminals and 1/4" quick-disconnects is rated IP67. All are black and snap in a 1 11/32" Lg. ï¾— 11/16" Wd. panel cutout. Rated 15 amps @ 125 volts AC and 30 volts DC. Maximum voltage is 250 AC and 30 DC. UL and C-UL recognized.

IP67 Protected from total dust ingress. Protected from immersion between 15 centimeters and 1 meter in depth.

These are also IP 67 rated per their data sheet.

Last night I did a bit of digging under the dash, The front cover is plastic and I found a spot with clearance behind. It also on the same side as the starter, where I can get power for the relay through the supplied fuse in the harness. Ill do a layout this weekend before I remove parts and start cutting

Just curious . . . The material that the 3d printer uses that you made it from . . How is it for UV or cold or heat or wet/freezing ? We know its not too durable for guns lol. I just didn't know how it handles extremes and out-of-doors situations.

We gave pro printers that use ABS. That's a common material on cars and appliances. I could use even more robust materials but it's not warranted.

The little ones use PLA, which is more brittle and doesn't have much hat resistance. But for 50 cents you could make it over....

I thought I would update my UTV Parts and Accessories.com pricing situation. The never did answer my email, but I had a chance to call and talked to a nice lady in sales. Se indicated they were probably updating their pricing on their web site and that was the issue in the part being priced different in two places. The good news is she will honer the cheaper price and is issuing a refund. So they are Ok in my book now. Not good at emails, but very good over the phone.

Bottom line - in looking at all the mounts out there for lights, these folks seem to have the best selection and the quality is good. Ill know more when I use them.

With the light bar on the ROPS are you still able to fold the ROPS of need with the light and wiring there?
