Not sure what you mean. For clarity, there are 3 pins on the loader, the lower, upper, and a locking pin. When the loader locking pins are removed and the lift cylinders will fully retracted, the lower pin come out of its seat, but the upper pin doesn't. When I curl the bucket, nothing happens, thats when I would of expected the upper pin to lift out....

Have a look here, loader curl is right. You are on flat ground?

I had a GC2400 with the DL100 loader for the last 3 years, never had a problem removing the loader, The DL95 has some differences, but from what I can tell, the loader removal process should be the same. I am working in my garage, nice cement floor.

I did get it off just a minute ago. With the bucket edge down and the lift arms retracted, the lower pins come off. Then I lifted on the loader arms, with some effort, and curled while lifting. Not sure where the interference is..

I had the dealer show me how to remove the loader on mine before I left the building. The first guy couldn't get it to come off. The second guy (that was the expert) couldn't get it off either, by just using the joy stick. He then lifted the bucket off the floor, and got off and jumped on the bucket, and it finally popped off. I'm glad I had them show me, or I would have been scratching my head like you. Their explanation of this was that it hasn't been removed since put on new, and will be much easier the next time. I hope so!

Taking the loader on and off is a real pain in the butt. I'm not gonna lie....I've considered why I didn't look at green closer a few times while trying to take it off.
Putting back on is rather easy...but I always have trouble getting it off.

And please let us know if you are actually able to get your MMM to stay in UP position if you want it to....I can't.

EDIT: I just watched the first couple minutes of this video. Bigger tractor and loader, but the loader design looks nearly identical. It looks like his loader pops out when you curl....mine never pops....

Greetings Fiziks,

1. Nice looking machine . . But where is tbe snow . . . We've got plenty to lend you :)

2. Fel removal the 1st time for me was similar to yours. First, when new you need to be on a flat surface because tbe dl95 is a little tight when it gets cocked while removing. If you have the lock pins out and loader has shiftedvout of the cradle a bit . . You may need to get off tractor and just push a bit on loader if tractor and fel both aren't on a flat surface. It gets cocked at the top pins when paint is fresh.

I found that by the second time I did it . . It smoothed out considerably. Also there are multiple choices on the "stand arms". I use the farthest one back.

Pretty machine and lots of attachmrnts to play with.

I looked at your drive on mmm deck. I guess I don't see where tbe drive on ramp angles are from your picture. I got an extra mmm drive on manual accidentally at delivery. Guess I need to see how they work :)

Congrats.

No snow here...though we are finally getting some cold weather....so maybe Frosty will be a late bloomer this year...or maybe we'll have an easy winter...who knows...

In the grand scheme of things, having to pull on the FEL arms a little isn't a big deal. Over all, I would say I liked the DL100 loader a bit better...

There are no ramps for the drive over deck. They just welded on some material to help the tires get a grip. You can see them in the pic, the two brackets sticking off the back, and there are two more on the front. I prefer this to having to install little ramps like Kubota is using. Looks like they also added a brace across the spindle covers, and the covers themselves are heavier gauge as well. I also noticed they added holes to access the zerks without having to remove the covers, that is appreciated.

I'll also add that I was playing with everything in the garage/driveway, but it all got stuffed into my shed. The second time I disconnected the FEL was in the shed, and the drive back around front to mount up the blower was really scary. With just the backhoe on, the front wheels are just looking for an excuse to leave the ground!

I don't have the backhoe but I can certainly imagine if you have the fel off (just the bucket is 155 lbs) plus fel arms are more thsn that . . Plus no mmm on . . That your back weight is substantial (backhoe plus loaded tirez plus operator). Drive like that and you'll never wear the front tires out lol.

Did you trade in the gc2400? How many hours were on it?

My storage plan for this winter requires me to keep the backhoe on. If I had more time...in warmer weather...to think of a solution and move stuff around, I'd probably drop the backhoe also and use the blower in conjunction with my ballast box.

I did trade the GC2400. Had 194 hours on it when they took her away. I won't say the trade was painless (money wise), but it wasn't horrible in the grand scheme of things.

Fiziksgeek,

Congratulations on a fine choice of tractor and implements. Let us know when you're not at home (leave the key in the ignition too) so we can come ahem, check out your tractor and all its toys. ;) Don't mind us if we leave a few holes in the grounds playing around. They'll fill in sooner or later.:laughing:

But seriously, I commend you on your choice there. I'm really enjoying my GC1715 a great deal too. I have been pleasantly surprised at how much power this little tractor has and how maneuverable it is too.

I hope you enjoy your tractor as much as I do.

Happy New Years to everyone!
