Kioti CS2410
I am looking to get into a sub-compact. I recently came across a deal on a Kioti CS2410 with a loader/backhoe/belly mower (mower never used) from a private party for $14,000. The machine is 2 years old with only 90hrs on it. The current owner said he bought it with the intent of starting a side business that he just didn't have the time to get off the ground, and it has become just another monthly payment for him. Seems like a really good deal.

I have 10 acres. Mostly wooded with about 1.5 acres of lawn. The tractor would be used for mowing, collecting wood for the stove, removing snow from a 100 yard drive way (which I had been doing by hand for the last 5 years), and a hand full of other projects that will now be a possibility with having the equipment available. Because my property is densely wooded and hilly, I don稚 want to get too big.

He said he bought it from the area dealer (about 30 miles from my house) and had it serviced there. I plan on calling the dealer today but, I had been reading the forums and I thought I would ask some questions.

1. The tractor is still under warranty, how is Kioti about transferring warranties with private party sales?
2. The current owner has it financed through Kioti. Do they offer 鍍aking over payments or private sale financing if not purchased through a dealer?
3. Before stumbling across this machine, I had been looking primarily at gently used BX痴. How does this stack up?

I talked to the dealer. He said the transfer of the waranty is not a problem. He told me to reach out to Kioti corporate about taking over the loan/transfering payments. He could do it, but it would involve the dealer buyin it, and selling it back to me, which would be more hassel.

I looked into other financing, not a chance, close between 9-11%. At those rates, I will buy new if I can't "assume" the current loan.

Many, many, many new tractors are sold because of buyer financing. That's why the manufacturers offer what appears to be great finance packages. Just keep in mind that nothing is free. When they tell you 0% financing they are making their money somewhere......

I was not planning on getting a backhoe, but I can see how useful ot will be, and will take it if everything falls into place. Gladly!!

Hi Mark,
We are pretty much neighbors, I live in Lignum just off route 3 and have a Kioti RX6010. Are you going through Tractor Hill in Mineral, if so they are good people to deal with.

The backhoe and mower easily make up 1/2 the price he's asking, leaving $7 for the tractor.

Scoop it up quick.
