Consider floor plan costs, inventory and advertising costs. I don't see how anyone could survive on 1k or less per unit. Those farm shows aren't free.
Thank you, but don't worry, I don't need to feel better about it. Apparently I'm the only one who has trust in my dealer not deceiving me. which makes sense since I'm the only one in this thread who has had constant dealings with him.If you want to feel better about it, think of it this way, I'm willing to bet your local tractor dealer isn't taking you to the cleaners like your car dealership is/would.

I might just do that. How much do I stand to gain (your yearly salary) when I do? I just want to make sure it's worth insulting him and souring the relationship. If you're right, I'll absolutely admit it.Don't believe me, go ask him. Call him up and ask if once the deal is done, does he take any rebates or extra discounts? I'll bet my yearly salary he does. He may not be "deceiving" you, but he sure as **** isn't making $750-$1000 on each sale.

Well I'm interested now.... I'll take the bet, since you're offeringMore than you'd think.
I'll be interested to hear the outcome.
LOL... Well apparently AFTERHis salary before rebates and commissions or after? . LoL.

Maybe you have a much larger salary than he does based on the differing commission rates.
