Need to get coffee started. 43° with mostly clear skies. Heading to 61° with sunny skies. Not much planned today. Just relax and enjoy the sun.
Good Morning All.

Everything else English I've learned from Downton Abbey :).
. . .so I'd recommend a big tile covered in gravel.

Do the English call a culvert a tile? I have never heard that terminology down South.

57 going to 74 today with pea soup fog. I have a horse listed on Craig's List and the response as been unexpected. Supposedly I have 6 people coming over to look at her this weekend. The farrier is also coming by sometime today. Hope to get on the tractor and do some clean up around the feeders. Seems the hay the horses drop, the cows love.

Eric, I looked into it, and I am sorry but I am not willing to Marry you. But I can get you a work visa, so I suggest you get to work spinning your yarns of ponds, Dog, sheep and your good natured life from across the pond. I do think you would be missed.

Don, I have been laughing picturing a calf bawling while kicking it's legs in the air while being moved in a grapple. Too funny, I wonder if it would work??? I might convince my wife that we need one if I can keep a straight face explaining it.

Good Morning. 0850, fog, 69F with 98% humidity. Forecast high of 69F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 47F tonight.

I had an early start this morning at work. A neighbor of mine has a Christian Women's Conference here at the Civic Center two or three times a year. She lives about a mile east of the Larro Ranchero, but on the other side of the Chipola River, so I see her and her husband two or three times a year. They are in this morning, so I'm getting to visit with my neighbors that I hardly ever see. Then the Saddle Club tonight. Nice folks, but they are prone to decorate with bales of hay. Hope they keep it on the tile part of the Ball Room. Hay is hard to get out of carpet.

Hope you guys have a good one,

Larro

BTW, did any of you read about the Tennessee woman who spent all her money on Powerball tickets, assuming she'd win? Now, she has a "GoFundMe" site and asking people to contribute money so she and her family can survive.
Geez...

I have a cousin who is always saying if it wasn't for beer, tobacco and the lottery, we would not get any taxes from the poor. At least this lady was helping to pay her way:eek:

The sad thing is there are folks out there dumb enough to send her money.

Yep, if I have to pay for the WIC, the seafood and steaks, at least let them contribute something!
Upper fprties going to low 50's, then much colder.

40 this morning and headed to 44 her in Gatlinburg TN. Arrived early this morning after a late start. Some serious fog on the way in.

Eric. I'm sure you can stick around. We need a resident pond and alien expert.

Good Morning! 43F @ 7:30AM. 100 % Precip. / 0.15 in. A steady rain this morning. Showers continuing this afternoon. High 56F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 100%.

Only 0.4" out of this storm so far, a very long shot from the over 1" predicted. The Blob seems to be draining El Nino's strength.

I am enjoying the higher temperatures over night; it's nice waking up without frosty ears.

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend!

G'morning all. Eric, I'll put a word in for you to stay. :)

Wifey had to make 2 different cups of coffee this AM. I have problems with caffeine. Lord knows I've had my share of it in my lifetime, but it now makes me have weird symptoms. Anxiety, tingly feelings, feelings like I might pass out. Strange...

Got up and cooked the wife and kiddos pancakes from Bisquick.

The Impala car has been running fine except for a code that says the catalytic converter is not performing well.

Now I have to repair the mini van to sell it. I have to make/repair the filler neck on the gas tank. Fortunately, I have a machine shop at my disposal to utilize. I pulled the fuel tank out yesterday in the nice weather and used a sawz all to remove all the high density polyethylene excess weld I had hot air welded to it some time ago. (It had cracked when I attempted to remove the very tight hose attached to it.)

Funny note, I shaved off my "salt and pepper" goatee that I've been wearing for over 15 years. My kids have never seen me without it and are having their share of laughs over it....I believe the "salt" portion was overtaking the "pepper" portion. :)

Good morning all. 39F this morning, overcast rain sprinkles in the area. 1/8 in forecast along with a high of 42F. Inside day today, Fire and dog sitting for TMA, stepdaughter has gone to a concealed carry class. BIL/SIL have left after just over 1 day visit, was sorry to see them leave so quick. However, I may be able to con him in helping with boat seat so he may be back :)
