Yeah, The Squeak is guiltless ... at least in this matter ...
Ammonia at zero today, nitrite off the chart (> 5.0 ppm) ... so it looks like we're into the second phase of the cycle.
Did partial water change (around 9 gallons), dosed with 1 tsp of ammonia ... will retest the ammonia again tomorrow, just to make sure it's all getting converted in 24 hours. Then probably recheck the nitrite as well.

If for two more days the models continue in their agreement western parts of NC up the I81 corridor and into DC and Pa will see a very large snow storm. Others to the east wet snow sleet and ice eventually all the way to the coast. This could and I say could be very damaging to the mid Atlantic

Yes, sad about this one too. I have to admit, I have some old David Bowie vinyl lps, and plenty of Eagles vinyl, cassette and CD's.
I saw the Eagles in Houston in 1976 touring the "Hotel California" tour, Jimmy Buffet opened up for them.
