20 degrees going up to 33 today, a real icebox for this area.
Good day to stay inside and get a few things done. Tomorrow the stone comes and I can at least work in a warm cab.
And Buppies, forecast now changed for Saturday, inch of rain on Friday into Saturday and then snow on the tail end of the system, maybe an inch.
sounds like an icy mess here but that will be a sizeable snow storm for others, and likely not far West of here either.
Larro, you cold down there too?
I think I can hear the bread and milk going warp speed already...
Slow and easy you guys up North with the snow; we aren't all spring chickens any more...
Fall roosters?
Had a good day yesterday, oral surgeon said he expected my jaw to still be sore a week later considering what he did..., so that was comforting, sort of...
and then a good trip to a furniture store an hour away to buy a recliner a friend had recommended to me. We both have seriously bad backs and he did the research. I admit I almost paid as much for this Ekornes chair as I did my first new car, a 1971 Toyota Corolla, but that's probably more my age. Like many folks with bad backs and arthritis, I'm constantly looking for a comfortable place to sit down and most chairs and soft sofas are literally painful to sit on. So a good chair, well, I'm looking forward to it. 14 weeks from Norway.
The chair has a suspension system in it like a bed, and when I sat in it, I didn't want to leave. An instant "oh my" feeling. Now I can get rid of my almost 20 year old cheap vinyl recliner that takes up way too much room and is so soft I can't stand sitting in it. one of my friendly firemen will scarf it right up...
And if you aren't in Australia at the moment, stay warm and be safe.
