Your tractor is slightly more powerful than my own, but in the same class. I have the original grapple at 72" wide. I would be pleased with the version 2.0 of that same grapple as the updated version opens a little wider, and for my use, popping aspen rootballs out of sphagnum the length of the tines still allows me good leverage. That said, that bigger version allows larger bites of lighter material like brush.

So thats not the utility grapple right?

What I have is the original dual lid wicked root grapple. For the kind of material I'm processing, which is stumps stuck into sphagnum and endless deadfalls, I'd get the version 2.0 of the same grapple. The new utility grapple allows for nabbing more material in one bite. Also, I find myself hand loading the grapple with junk. The new utility grapple allows much more junk to get hand loaded.

It really comes down to what you're going to use the grapple for. Lighter material or lift capability to burn? Get the new utility grapple.

Good advice from Eric.
The NX6010 and JD4066 tractors are both large compact tractors with similar weights and the loader lift capacities are over 2,500 pounds.
I don't think you can really go wrong with either grapple.

I would really like the extra strength in the utility grapple...is there really a negative to it?

I really like the bigger opening of 42 1/2". My HD 84" grapple only has 34" opening.
