I don't have a link but my snowmobile has a sticker right on it that says "Polaris VES II synthetic oil preferred for proper exhaust valve operation"
It is an 800 cc 2 stroke with power valves.

Brp, polaris and yamaha. They have required synthetics for years. And its not a sales pitch, there is loads of useful data in there.

If your gonna spend $12,000+ on a toy, why cheap out on maintenance.

well i can't seem to find a direct link to your engine, i assume its the 902, based on that though i went to kubota site, no where does it list a requirement for synthetic, but says it can be used if it meets the requirements
