Anyone using a Tisco leveling box for the lift arm?

Are you wanting to know about those specifically? Or just how much it helps? My jd 3020 has one, and I use it every time I hook up an implement that doesn't use a quick hitch

They look more effective than the turnbuckle style I have now. Are they effective and durable? The one at TSC is too long at a quick glance.

MY Bobcat CT 235 came with the crank style like this. Easy to use once I marked where level was. However have you thought about a hydraulic set up? Brian with Fit Rite can help

Would you be glad you ditched the turnbuckle style for gear & crank? Uh, yeah ... by the second time you adjusted for level, if not the first.

Good product & price? I'd say so, having paid ~$100 for similar (CAT-1)) for my T1520. Dealers may have several sizes, so it pays to call around and see who has such bits on hand. (you might be surprised)

Fitment? Measure for length/travel, width of the top mount, spread of lower clevis, and hole diameters to use existing pins.

I milled the top mount of mine narrower (~1/8"/side) for a 'drop fit', tool-free install. (Prep/paint along the way) Could have taken my OEM arm to compare size (advise to do so), but got lucky by knowing the pin dimensions and seeing ~ what I needed on the rack.

btw, Fluid Film to lube gears, threads, pins by default here. ;)

You can find these from aftermarket suppliers, and in several different lengths.
My 3 old Fords all have leveling box assemblies, but my tractors are old.
I just put a replacement assembly on my Ford 1920, and it was not listed as being for the 1920, but had the exact same parameters as the original.
I do not know why manufacturers quit putting these on new tractors.
I would not want to be without mine.

I think about Brian's TnT all the time but not justifiable at this time.

Thanks for your feedback fellas, this is good info. I'll ask around to see if anyone locally has my size.

I know this is a old thread, but I have the same problem now on my 1920. Would you be so kind as to tell me what part number you used? I think the Tisco SBA37001042 would work. Like to know for sure before buying one. Thanks

I wish I could tell you what part number I used, but I am out of the USA until November, so don't have access to receipts for my 1920 parts.
I have just purchased a valve and cylinder to build a hydraulic tilt for my 1920, because I cannot reach the leveling box from the seat of my 1920, like I can from my 8N.

I notice that TSC has this unit, which is probably too long for the lift arm but I'll see if Tisco has shorter units. Tisco Lift Leveling Box Assembly, E0NN569AA - For Life Out Here

My apologies if this has been discussed already and if so, please let me have the link.

Thank you.
For: jschroeder.....
I texted my son in the US, and he found the information on the leveling box that I bought for my Ford 1920 (in 2015).
I ordered from All States Ag Parts, and their phone number is: 1-877-530-4430.
Their part number is: 124342. Cost is $120.
The part number is advertised as being a replacement for SBA370010122, and SBA370200230.
It is listed as a replacement for all the Ford '00 & '10 series Shibaura tractors, but it works just fine on my '20 series.
Adjustment is from 16-1/2" to 20-1/2".
The TISCO unit referenced by the OP in the link above, is WAY too long for a 1920.

Thanks for going out of your way to help me, I appreciate it. Good luck with the hydraulic project.
