I disagree with both you and Coyote. This thread has come off its hinges but I don't think the OP's frustrated initial posts were anything worse than what consumers do every day in our world. We are all pretty much spoiled by Amazon and a few other companies who bend over backwards to sold even unrealistic customer demands. The OP had a frustrating experience with his dealer and ended up taking it out on a poor customer service rep. It happens. That is no reason to treat the OP like he is an entitled jerk. We all vent and we all get vented at. No reason to jump to conclusions just because the first interaction didn't go well. Some folks here are too defensive.
You can disagree with my viewpoint as much as you like, IT. that's fine, and I'm not offended by it, nor do I worry about your seeing things differently than I do.
Just because the climate today is everyone demands instant customer satisfaction doesn't make it right, nor does it justify an owner of any tractor brand bashing the corporation to the point of calling out a customer service rep by name, and drawing erroneous conclusions about their job and how they do it.
Frustration: whatever- people need to grow up and stop whining about everything that doesn't go their way every second. Part of the unhinging was off track baseball discussion, which you and other Kioti members initiated and carried on about. Personally, I could care less. I've said it many times; I'm here to help others in any way I can, as others have often helped me. I don't want to waste my time and energy arguing with people, regardless of what they own or don't, about things that aren't focussed on the actual issue at hand.
The OP, has been difficult at best to deal with- to get any kind of clear answers from, and to date has not stated if his issue is fixed by having found the pinched wire(s), which of course he wants someone to blame for. Tractors come with problems, warranty usually resolves those. If one buys 2 or 20 tractors, has warranty or doesn't, those thing all count toward the way things get resolved.
I have taken a lot of heat in this thread for all manner of things, NONE of which amounts to anything. I and other Kioti, and a few other brand loyal TBN members, AND the OP's dealer, ALL said wiring.
Wiring it is/was, until we are told different.
Frustration over a blown up transmission or engine failure is one justifiable problem. A wire being pinched is a pain, but not earth shattering. This is what posters need to take into account when they post here. Members, you, me and others, should value their time, and I don't care if it's Kioti being slammed or some other brand: if it's not done in a way that respects all our time and effort, then the next OP who chooses to do this sort of thing should just write a letter, you know, on paper, to the corporate offices of the brand and await the reply- instead of wasting our time, then when called on it- making all kinds of irrelevant excuses and denying what he actually did and how he behaved. If there wasn't' a problem with his method they're wouldn't be 10 + pages of 'discussion' about it.
And everybody venting or getting vented at is just supportive of the status quo, which doesn't make it any better. I don't see where anyone said the OP is/was an entitled jerk, either.
Let's not settle for the lowest quality of interaction here on TBN.
Instead let's elevate things to where members, new or old, can come here, ask a reasonable uncharged with vehemence question, seek help from other owners, and get answers that help them get on with their task(s).
I aspire to elevating the discussion rather than dragging everything through the mud.
