Looks like it. I'm with you, I don't think there's anything wrong with mentioning Melissa Waters' name and saying she didn't call someone back. That's hardly slanderous. As a matter of fact, googling her name brings up a few pages from our good ole TBN. One thread includes her email address.

It ain't slander if it's true.

I agree guys.

Bothers me that I can be slandered and then my polite question about it is deleted, along with the "dumbest person on the planet" comment aimed at me. So at a minimum a Moderator had to be involved??

CM are you a Moderator??

You really think Kioti would sue someone for mentioning a Customer Service Agent's name??

No, nor did I say that. IMO you shouldn't do it. If it were your wife working there would you be ok with her name coming up on TBN as not doing her job?

No, nor did I say that.

You said this. You really did post her name.... someone needs to call her and tell her that! That's not ok at all!

I simply asked if you thought Kioti would sue over something like that??

Maybe she is doing her job that's why no call back. It used to be Connie.

I get it. I understand the OP's frustration. I've been accused of being a "Shark" in this thread. Me and a couple other posters are the only ones not being Sharks. You guys take turns "Dog Piling" on a fellow Kioti owner. Not sure what that's about?

I personally don't give a crap what brand tractor the OP owns.

I don't get all the defensive posturing?? Maybe I missed something. :ashamed:

One word. Testosterone..

3: It is not the responsibility of Kioti corporate to fix tractors. That is the Dealers job.

That is correct and just what the corporations and CEOs think. In the mid 90s Cat locked out their UAW workers. Then a 18 month strike happened. The corporation replaced their workers with replacement / scabs from wherever they could find hands and feet. They left it up to the dealers to repair all of the defects caused by the replacement workers and there were plenty to go around. By the end of the strike the replacements had a hand on how to build the machines. Then they got kicked to the curb. No one won in that affair. JMHO

I didn't rewrite my own post- no I'm not a mod here on TBN, but if I were, I'd have cut a lot more posts from this thread. For those thinking its alright to make false statements about someone here on TBN, here's a brief clarification of the terms slander and libel: "Libel is the use of false, defamatory claims about someone in written or printed form. Slander likewise denotes false statements that damage a personç—´ reputation, but it is committed orally or in any other transient form. Both words have complex legal definitions and connotations..."

Here's just one of the OPs rants about the Kioti Customer service rep:...<snipped> "Guys im not bashing Kioti like i said in my post this is my second unit but, i will pose a test for you who may have doubt try to contact melissa waters at Kioti hq in north carolina and wait for them to call you back please go ahead i'll wait............. i bet you no one called back. like i posted im dealing with the usa #1 dealer of Kioti and to me i feel like everything should work properly on this tractor i feel its at safety issue if my son hit the forward pedal and it rolls because you cant see what you are in could be disastrous. as i posted everything was fine when i found out it was not working i took off the potentionmeter tested it and also put it on a working Kioti and the dash lights worked i then removed the cruse unit and did the same thing and it was also working then i hooked the dash up to a new Kioti and it to works fine now im frustrated i'm running out of thing to test and don't seem to be getting help from Kioti no one wants to admit thay had cruse moduel problems or ignition issues whats a fellow have to do? i love my tractor but, never thought i would have problems just speaking to someone i'm pretty knowledgeable about mechanical stuff but this one has got my head hurting.."

And his original slam of Kioti and their customer service, or lack thereof, from his statements now quoted: "I called Melissa Waters who is customer service at Kioti in NC and no one their has called back nor answered any of my e-mails trying to find out what it may be the dealer says it has to be in the wiring.I understand anything can and will go wrong from time to time but if you are looking for any customer support from Kioti you will be supprised everything is all good when the sales pitch starts but let a few months pass and try and get anything out of them if their is anyone who reads these posts who is from Kioti you need to step up your game......

So between the 'posed test' to call up the Kioti HQ customer service rep, and the statements about customer service not returning his call(s), emails, there is little doubt that the OPs attitude is one bent on saying that the cust svc rep is NOT doing her job- (which he thinks is to call him back about his dealer having told him the problem is in the wiring - which he doesn't think is a good enough answer). :confused2:

The Kioti rep IS doing her job; and it's NOT to return every call from some guy frustrated because he doesn't like the answer his dealer gave him about some minor wiring issue on an out of warranty tractor.

Portraying Kioti HQ as uncaring, needing to step up their game, etc. is NOT what TBN is about or here for. One has a problem with any major companies customer service personnel or methods, take it up with the company directly; not hiding behind some internet forum and throwing cheap shots to gain attention; then when it's brought up in the same forum by rightfully indignant members, backpedaling and making excuses about frustration, etc.
This whole thing is pathetic, but what's more pathetic is the fact that so many are so blind to that fact.

End trans.

People piss and moan about companies on line every day. Nothing special about the OP's diatribe. Besides, other than complaining that they didn't help him (true) and that the CS rep didn't return his phone call (true), there is nothing that comes even close to slander or libel. And, it isn't libel or slander if it's true. Even Donald Trump wouldn't threaten action based on what has been written in this thread.

So TBN should become a place where its acceptable to piss and moan about any little slight from the big bad corporate world where the corporate machine is out to get the little guy by hiding pinched wires in the machine?
You say what the OP says is true- how do you know he never received a reply from the cust svc rep?
He DID get service from his dealer- they told him the problem was wiring related- so did I, and numerous others here on TBN. And it seems that advice was true, but there was never, and probably never will be any acknowledgement from the OP about having been given FREE advice- that was correct from his dealer, or from TBN members who waded through this thread like a alligator infested swamp to help him.
The OP did his best to cast a shady light on Kioti customer service in general and the rep in particular. He made statements about her not doing her job, (according to his twisted understanding of what her job entails), and then challenged TBN members to call her up, while he'd wait to confirm her not returned calls?! Seems like seeking to incite harassment of an individual who did nothing other than come to work at her job. I'm not going to argue with you over whether what has occurred is or isn't slanderous or libelous, and I won't discuss some political ahole either. BTW, we CAN say anything about 'him' because he's a public figure, so he's not protected by the same laws as the cust svc rep.....
