Comparison If you couldn't choose your brand tractor . . then who ??

If buying used was an option, the Kubota L39 would be my first choice. Deere 110 would also be a great choice, but they are way too overpriced. I could get a Case 580 for less and do more with it.

If we're talking new, I'd have to say LS.

I am pretty loyal to Kubota from my years of owning couple of them but I purchased a used New Holland TL100 and haven't had any regrets with it. Now if I had to replace either my Kubota M7040 or New Holland TL100 I would go with the Massey 4608/4609/4610 they do have a 3cyl.diesel but I'm not going to get into the DPF or urea of the others. I looked at new kubotas the other day and really like the looks and interior over the massey but the massey isn't a bad looking tractor and the engine would make me go with it over the others offered.

I had a 4609 open station and loved it so much that I traded it in on a 4610 cab tractor. I was torn between the MF and the Kubota in these sizes. I ultimately decided on the MF because to me they were a heavier tractor in this class. I will agree that the cab interior of the Kubota over the MF is better. But the MF isn't bad at all.

I love the 3cyl, amazing amount of power and very fuel effecient. I burned about 1.5 gal of diesel per hour pulling a 5-14 plow.

I had a 4609 open station and loved it so much that I traded it in on a 4610 cab tractor. I was torn between the MF and the Kubota in these sizes. No sir its not bad at all, guess its just the styling difference inside and out what makes the Kubota look better to me. I have heard good things about the 3cyl. diesels power and efficiency, wouldn't think twice about purchasing one.
