Ah, still interesting... I tend to agree with motownbrowne's assesment, although having two remotes on the TYM is good, and you should be able to ad SSQA without spending too much extra. Maybe the seller could give you a price on that work? It isn't all that complicated for most tractors, if you can cut and weld.
The Kubota weighs almost as much as the TYM, 3395 lbs vs. 3741 lbs, and I think the heavier Kubota loader would make up some of the difference. The power difference isn't as much of an issue as would be the HST vs shuttle shift drive in terms of operation.
Couldn't find loader specs for the TYM, but the Kubota's LA714 is rated at 3767 lbs break-out, and full lift at the pins at 1792 lbs., with a 72" bucket. That's good for a CUT of that size.
If and when you resell either tractor, most likely the Kubota will win in that aspect. And 700 hours isn't a lot, but 236 is less.
Oh, and if you shop around a bit, and do the work yourself (you should, just to familiarize yourself with your tractor) Kubota filters and fluids will be less than $400, but you should probably all that for any used tractor you buy, so you know for sure, unless you have TOTAL trust in what the seller tells you. Super UDT 2 is good stuff, by the way! Speaking of good stuff, forget Armorall, and try Aerospace 303 Protectant- I discovered it thanks to the collector car guys who swear by it for plastic and rubber preservation. Seems to really work!
