I didn't look too carefully, but it seemed to be a 5:1 arrangement pulling on a 5:1 arrangement. 25:1, less friction losses.

The video noted 35:1 and and in another video of his he stated that his tractor is good for 800 lbs of pull which equals about 28,000 lbs or 14 tons.

I've lived near an airport most of my life. It doesn't bother me anymore. Neither do the freight trains 3 blocks down. :laughing:

I've seen similar videos for military training to allow 4 guys to pull a full size humvee sunk to the bumper in mud out BY HAND. it's amazing what brains can do instead of brawn.
