2 new mahindras today max 24 & max 26

Have you experienced either machine going into bypass on the HST unit under a heavy load? I cannot stall the engine on my Max 24. Around here (WV), high range is pretty much useless. With the FEL and BH, I can get the HST unit to go into bypass even in low range. It will not spin the wheels or stall the motor. It has been checked and they say that is how it is supposed to operate. Have you had this experience with either machine? Can you stall the motor or spin the wheels on the 26?

I have 15 hrs on my Max 26. I've done a lot of towing logs out of the woods. On a heavy load it will dig in and spin the wheels in place. Motor doesn't bog. I have the shuttle shift. 4 hi and 4 low gears. Love the selection... Although the spinning seat for the backhoe is a PITA! And although it does have more power than my simplicity, I was expecting more than it has for ripping roots out... Almost wish I bought bigger...

Just picked up the new tractor today! Did a lot of research before making the purchase and we will see, so far so good! We bought 2 Mahindra's today, mine for the house was the 24 max and the 26 max w/ backhoe for the business. The max 26 will be here in a few days. We also got a 5' finishing mower, 5' box scraper and the 5' rototiller. Both machines have loaders. I will post back with more stuff soon, I will be out playing with the max 24 tomorrow, stay tuned!

So far I love it!

Just wondering how you like the Max 24. I just got mine and really liking it overall. Only got to move snow banks around left by my plow guy. I'm planning on getting some work done in the horse rings this weekend cleaning and grading some getting ready for rain this spring! Plenty of power, and capability in a small package.

Sorry for the long delay. Both the max 24 and the max 26 have been outstnding, no complaints. I have added a BBX48 cutter to the max24, the 24 will run a 5ft cutter but I went with the 4ft to get in around wooded areas. I can take 1.5" saplings with no sweat!
